Pamela Ann Jordan, a proud native of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away September 3, 2025, peacefully at the age of 70 in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, following a brave and unwavering three-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Over her last few weeks through to her last shared moment, she was enveloped in the love of her devoted family and closest friends-a reflection of the deep bonds she nurtured throughout her life.

Pamela was the cherished daughter of the late Arthur F. Jordan and Barbara M. Jordan (Streck). Her heart was deeply tied to her family, especially her grandfather, Kenneth Streck of Lowell. In his final chapter, Pamela stood by him with love and compassion, offering gentle care and quiet strength as he journeyed toward peace.

She spent the majority of her life in her hometown, where she graduated from Lowell High School and forged a purposeful career marked by compassion and professionalism. She contributed her talents to several respected organizations, including Bard/USCI, Avid Technology, RSA, and the Mental Health Association of Greater Lowell (Renaissance Program)-where her work reflected her deep commitment to helping others.

Pamela was known for her sharp wit, generous heart, and enduring loyalty to those she loved. She was a devoted member of St. Anne's Church, where she found community, spiritual nourishment, and a place to give back. Her faith was a constant source of strength and comfort, guiding her through life's joys and challenges.

Over the years, Pamela made homes in New Hampshire, North Carolina, and South Carolina, always bringing warmth, strength, and compassion wherever she went.

Pamela had a boundless love for animals, especially her cherished dogs Gizmo and Bear, who were more than pets-they were family. She spoke of them often with tenderness and joy, and now finds peace reunited with them in their heavenly rest. Known for her soft heart and open arms, Pamela had a special place in her soul for strays and never turned away a creature in need. Her compassion extended to all living beings, and her kindness left a lasting imprint on every paw that crossed her path.

As the matriarch of the Jordan family, Pamela was a beloved mother, grandmother, friend, and devoted pet owner. Pamela is survived by her children: Leslie Detellis; Katherine Boyet and her husband Andy; Ian Jordan and his wife Aideen; and Barbara Jordan-Munnis and her husband Derek. She was the proud grandmother of eight grandchildren: Emma, Elwood, Gideon, Josiah, Sadie, Victoria, Lily, and Arthur.

Pamela's kindness, resilience, strength and love touched countless lives. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.

Family and friends will gather for Visiting Hours at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62) Wilmington, MA, on Thursday evening, October 9th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Graveside Services will take place on Friday, October 10th at 9:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Cemetery, 90 River Road, Tewksbury, MA.
