Pamela Jean LaVanway, 68, of Eau Claire passed away in her home on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heritage Chapel, 8747 U.S. 31, Berrien Springs.
Pam was born on May 15, 1955, in St. Joseph to the late Charles and Caroline (Titsworth) Craft.
Pamela was a loyal friend and mother figure to many who needed love and support. She was an avid photographer, graphic designer, greeting card creator and crafter. She was known for her charity work with the Eau Claire Cherry Festival, for more than two decades. She was a Christmas fanatic and Michigan football fan. Pamela will be missed.
Pam is survived by her children: Michael Craft of Dowagiac, Robert (Nichole) LaVanway of Henderson, Nev., and Shawn McKenzie of Chicago; grandchildren: Jaiden, Sydney, Sean, Keegan, Kincade, Kenadie, Michelle and Alexander; siblings: Penny Brickheimer of Niles, and Chuck Craft Jr., of Sanger, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Craft and sisters: Connie Craft and Patricia Yaw.
A celebration of life memorial service will be at noon on Saturday, Sept. 16, at Heritage Chapel in Berrien Springs. Visitation with the family precedes the service from 11 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family scholarship fund. Friends wishing to leave the family a message of condolence may do so at www.heritage -chapel.com.

I´m so sorry to hear of Pam´s passing . It was such a shock so soon after our 50th class reunion where we had a nice talk and got to catch up. She was a very sweet person and she is in my prayers .
