Pamela Joyce McCown Forshage

Pamela Joyce McCown was born on October 30, 1955, to Orville and Wanda McCown. She passed away April 26, 2023, in Manilla, Philippines.
Pamela graduated from Texas A&M University College Station obtaining a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Food Science and Technology.
Pamela worked as a food scientist for Coca-Cola Company, PepsiCo Food International and Frito Lay. She moved to Manilla, Philippines where she was employed by Universal Robina Corporation for over 26 years. Pamela was a member of many professional organizations. She was one of the longest serving board of directors of the Philippine Association of Food Technologists.
Pamela is preceded in death by her parents, brother David R McCown, maternal grandparents, JR and Winnie Swink and paternal grandparents, Hugh & Elizabeth McCown.
She is survived by her son Bonham Forshage, and wife Iza and the joy of her life, granddaughter, Izabella. Her siblings, Linda (Gary) Singleton, Patricia (Randall) Kelso, Cynthia McCown, Mark (Chrissi) McCown, sister-in-law, Cathy McCown, nephews, Marshall McCown, Wyatt McCown, Morgan McCown, Patrick McCown, Shawn McCown, Mathew McCown, niece, Nicole McCown and step-nephew Greg Singleton.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 11:00 am with rosary starting at 7:00 pm at Dobie Funeral Home Mathis Texas. Funeral Mass will be held Friday May 12, 2023, at St Patrick's Mission in San Patricio Texas at 10:00 am.
