Pamela "Pam" Joy Pope age 66 of Greenbrier, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024. She was born on July 23, 1958 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late William Ramsey and Hazel Alberta Nichols Bourland. Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Glenda Faye Holder and son, William Lee Pope, III. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, William "Lee" Pope, Jr; son, William "Lee" Pope, IV; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Joy Link and Brian Morris Link; siblings, James Bourland (Kim), Priscilla Whitt (Clarence) and William Bourland (Shauntel); step-mom, Sylvia Bourland and numerous cousins.
Pam and the love of her life, Lee met while going to school together. She was 14 and he was 16. She graduated from East High School in East Nashville. They formed a bond that stood the test of time. Pam loved her family and they were always the most important part of her life. She devoted a lot of her time advocating for special needs children. She was their voice and her servant heart was evident. She worked for Dollar General Corporate office for many years and recently retired after several years of service with Comcast. She enjoyed traveling to Gatlinburg and going on cruises. One of her favorite places to visit was Cozumel, Mexico. She enjoyed knitting, scrapbooking, and crafting. She will be greatly missed by her family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, November 25, 2024, 12:00 noon in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with David Gregg officiating. Visitation with the family will be on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
