Pamela Saczawa Obituary
Pam was born in Milford, CT on January 2, 1947, to the late Robert and Cathalene (Tucker) Merrill. She graduated from Rocky Hill High School in 1964 before studying at UConn and CCSU.
Pam was a loving mother to her four children, for whom she worked hard to provide. She had a 40-year career at Aetna, in a variety of roles, until her retirement in 2011. Pam's favorite pastimes included traveling (she drove across country many times throughout her life), vacationing in southern Maine, bowling, golfing, and spending time with her many friends and family, including, most especially, her beloved grandchildren.
Pam is survived by her children, Steven (Marie), Michael, Brian (Linda), and Elizabeth (Paul), her grandchildren Jake, Amy, Dylan, Mae, Sam and Finn, her brothers Geoffrey (LeighAnn) and Dennis (Theresa), her sister Roberta, and her many nieces and nephews.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Deborah and Rebecca, her former husband Walter, and her daughter-in-law Dara.
The family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Rose Hill Funeral Home 580 Elm St. Rocky Hill, CT with Services to follow. A Private burial will be in the Rose Hill Memorial Park.
