To Pam's Family:
I worked very closely with Pam at Richmond City Dept. of Social Services for many years. Pam was an extraodinary manager and was very knowledgeable in her field, which earned her a tremendous amount of respect from her staff.
She also had a very soft loving heart when it came to her family. I vividly remember conversations we used to have in the Director's office while she sat waiting for a staff meeting to begin. She never talked about business during that time;Pam talked about her nephews with such happiness in her voice. She talked about what they were accomplishing in their everyday life with school, church, sports;etc. We did that often; I talked about my three sons and Pam taked about her nephews, whom she loved dearly and was so proud of.
I know you will all miss her so much; and I pray that you will find solace in knowing that she loved her sister, nephews and family more than anything and that she is now resting in peace.
May God continue to bless and comfort
the family.

" Hi, Pam Turner !" That was always our greeting to each other and she would come back with " Hi, Pam Martin !" Pam & I have been friends since we went to Fairfield Jr. High School & then on the HSHS. Pam
was a great friend then and she was a great friend in these latter years. We lost contact during those middle years. But when our friendship resumed - it was like we had missed no time in between.
Pam was always a caring person & she walked with God guiding her and she shared God with others.
On Tuesday morning, God held our beloved Pam in His Loving Arms as he carried her through those Heavenly Gates to her eternal Home. She is healed of all sickness & struggle & pain. She has NO more worries. For she now has everlasting Peace Forevermore.
I am honored & thankful to have been able to call you
"FRIEND."
May God Bless you, Pam Turner !

My condolences to the family. Pam was a very straight forward and knowledgeable person. You always respect a person as such. She was very influential during her employ with the City of Richmond. Not many were made like her and that's unfortunate.

Pam and I attended Highland Springs High School and forged a friendship there that stood the tests of time and distance. She will be remembered. May God wrap her family and loved ones in His loving arms and bring comfort. We are assured we will see our loved one again. Therein lies the good news. 'til then, dear Pam, be with Angels.

Dear Pam,
Not only have I lost the best supervisor in my 31 year tenure with Richmond City, I have lost a true and dear friend. I am so sorry we did not get to have lunch; I did not come home as planned, in October.
Thank you for the knowledge and wisdom that you unselfishly shared. Thank you for always believing in me. You once told me, “Remember God does not shut a door without opening a window”. God opened a window and allowed you passage into the Gates of Heaven.
I will always cherish the many wonderful memories I have of you. I love you my friend, rest in peace.

Here's to one of the greatest women that ever lived. She has touched so many lives and made such a difference in the world that we are all living in today. I probably wouldn't be alive today if Pam hadn't been there in my teenage years to let me know that everything was going to be alright. She made me smile everytime I was in her prescence and she was one of the few adults that I listened to growing up. I have fond memories of going to youth group functions such as the infamous annual Sandbridge trip which included "Snipe" hunting and the many trips to Blackstone retreats that "Mona" drove us to. I know that I, as well as many others will miss her, but she lives on in all us that loved her, especially her family that she cared so much about. I am sure everytime we look at "Beth's Boys" and their children, "Auntie" will be right in front of us.
Pam, thank you for sharing my life and showing me by example the important things about being alive. I will never forget you and I will see you again someday if the Lord sees fit. It would be nice to feel your prescence sometime and I promise I will, in your words, "sit still and listen". Love, Penny Williams "Peninny"

All will remember your positive and upbeat nature – a smile on your face during all adversity. Your generosity and happiness touched so very many people, and will continue to live on through family & friends lives – what a gift! Sending many positive thoughts and prayers to you and your family, and I know your walk with God be peaceful and comforting. What joy you will experience to be able to see your Mom and Dad! Godspeed, my friend. Surrounding you with peace and light, and many hugs!
