Stephen Parry Greco, affectionately known as Parry, passed away on October 23, 2025, at the age of 29, at home in
Dripping Springs, Texas. Born to Stephen and Debora Greco on March 8, 1996, in Austin, Parry's life was a testament to the joy he shared with everyone who knew him.
He was not only a cherished son, but a beloved brother to his sister Morgan, an admired brother-in-law to Morgan's husband Jack Lindwall, and a special uncle to Ruthie and Hank. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Col. Frank Leonidas Henry, Lt. Col. Leonard Charles Greco, and Susan Eileen Greco. He is survived by his immediate family, his grandmother, Emma Lee Henry, and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Parry was a student of Dripping Springs ISD, graduating from Dripping Springs High School in 2015. Parry loved anything and everything having to do with school. He was known all over campus for his friendly smile, sweet demeanor, and the yellow shirts he wore every day. Most recently, Parry was a crew member at nonPareil's Austin campus where he learned incredible design skills as well as received invaluable social and workplace support.
Parry would say that his life's greatest achievement was being named an Official Honorary Volunteer Firefighter by San Antonio Fire Station 47. This is an honor Parry carried with pride and took seriously as he made sure wherever his friends and family gathered was up to his safety standards.
The color yellow was a reflection of his sunny disposition and positive outlook on life. His passion for trains and railroad trips (and all forms of transportation) was a source of connection and joy for his family and friends, and his go-to topic of conversation with anyone he met.
Parry's existence was a celebration of life's simple pleasures. His presence reminded us to cherish the moments with our loved ones, to do things every day that make us laugh, and be a loyal friend.
His legacy will be felt by many, including those who did not directly know Parry. This includes inspiring his big sister Morgan to become a special education teacher. Her work has helped many children and families develop and flourish.
The family would like to thank all the teachers, therapists, clinicians, and community members who used their gifts to help Parry achieve his greatest potential so he could enjoy life to the fullest.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Dripping Springs Presbyterian Church, 26650 Ranch Road 12,
Dripping Springs, TX 78620. The family will start to receive guests at 10:00 am. A reception at the church will follow the service, then interment will be at Phillips Cemetery, 26001 Ranch Road 12 South,
