Patrice McDaniel

Lea Patrice McDaniel was born February 1, 1972, in Pine Bluff, AR. She was a 1991 graduate of White Hall High School. Following graduation, she attended the University of Arkansas Monticello (UAM) before transferring to University of Arkansas Little Rock (UALR) where she obtained her degree in Biology. Patrice began working at NCTR, first as a Biologist, then in the laboratory, and later as director of purchasing for a career that spanned over 32 years. During this time, she obtained her Masters in Regulatory Science from the University of Maryland. Patrice was a brilliant mind and a world of knowledge who was, at most times, fact-driven and statistical. She had her own style of wit and humor that developed throughout the years.
Patrice enjoyed spending time fishing with her family and loved to rebuild engines, although she had a more domesticated side and was a talented pianist and loved embroidering. She had a green thumb and enjoyed growing flowers and her artistic side allowed her to be creative in making floral arrangements that she enjoyed. Patrice was an avid animal lover, and previously raised and sold Weimaraners. Her mother describes her as having good taste in clothing also.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of White Hall.
Out of all the accomplishments in her life, her greatest pride and joy was her beloved daughter, Brylea Claire McDaniel. She would beam with pride anytime her name came up. Claire was her world.
Sadly, Patrice, age 52, and Claire, age 14, were joined together in death on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at their home in White Hall. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert Lee (Bob) and Doris Anita (Pat) McDaniel, and her great-grandparents, John William and June Ietta Mashburn.
She leaves behind her loving mother, Diane McDaniel; her best friends, Celeste Scroggins, Jauvier Revollo, and Azra Dad, among a host of other friends and relatives.
Visitation will be 5-7:00 P.M. Thursday, August 8, 2024, at the Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 9, 2024, at Center Missionary Baptist Church, Rowell, with the Revs. Paul Williams and Joseph Pemberton officiating. Burial will follow in Rowell Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the White Hall Band Boosters, c/o White Hall Bands, 8106 Dollarway Rd., White Hall, AR 71602 to assist students with instruments, uniforms, band camp, or other expenses.
