Patricia Aylor Obituary

Patricia J. Aylor, age 84, of Florence, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 9, 2025. She was born in Covington, Kentucky on February 10, 1941 to James B. and LaVerne H. Sayers (nee Cottingham).

She was preceded in death by her Father, James B. Sayers, Mother, LaVerne E. Sayers, Stepfather Edward Stagnaro and Stepmother, Betty Stagnaro (nee Bowman), Daughters, Lisa K. Aylor-Osinski and Laura Aylor, Sister, Cindy A. Tupman. Patricia is survived by her Daughter, Sharon L. Buckley, Son, Brian S. (Yuhui) Aylor, Grandsons, J.B. (Cristina) Kennedy, Jordan Kennedy, McLane E. Aylor, Matthew D. Buckley, Adam T. Buckley, and Aaron P. Buckley , Granddaughter, Sarah N. Buckley, Sister, Mary E. Stagnaro, Brother, Gil (Mary Ann) Stagnaro, Great Granddaughters Rosalyn A. Aylor, Cece Kennedy, Lele Kennedy, Great Grandson, JJ Kennedy; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pat’s first 4 years were on Youell Street in Florence, before crossing the river and living in Cincinnati and Beechmont. She attended Guardian Angels School, followed by Boone County High School. After marrying Clyde Aylor, she moved to Springfield, Ohio for 2 years, before returning to Florence. She was a Florence resident for the rest of her life. She worked in childcare and banking before managing a bookstore until her retirement. She loved reading, listening to music, crafts and painting, playing mahjong and watching British murder mysteries. She loved taking Sunday drives and spending a morning or afternoon at a park, where she enjoyed bird watching. She treasured time spent with her family.

A small service will be held at 2:00 on Thursday, August 7th, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Erlanger. A reception will be held at Liberty Hall ( previously called the Edgewood Senior Center) at Freedom Park, on Thomas More Parkway in Edgewood, Ky. Pleasestop by anytime from 3:00pm - 6:00pm to share memories and celebrate Pat’s life.
