Patricia Ann January Banther, 78 of Birchwood, TN went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 7th, 2024.
Ann was born, raised, and attended school in Rome, GA. She worked as a CNA for almost 20 years in several nursing homes in the Chattanooga area. Ann loved to take rides around the country, watch westerns and The Waltons, and stop for a treat at Sonic, vanilla milkshakes and hotdogs were her favorite. She loved her Lord and her family dearly. Ann was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed.
Ann is preceded in death by her husband Walter F. Banther; daughter, Laura Janeil Banther; son, Steven Michael Banther; parents, Allie and Betsy January; and brothers, Lewis and Timothy January.
Survivors include her children, Walter “Buster” Banther and Patti Banther; nine grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; siblings, Syble Eckert and Buddy Awtrey; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 12th, 2024 from 4-7pm in the Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cleveland, 3000 Ralph Buckner Blvd NE Cleveland, TN 37311.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024 1pm with Pastor Marty Fox officiating in the Poole Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Banther family cemetery, Birchwood, TN.
