In Loving Memory of Patricia Ruth Branin (Nunn), 92 of Mesa, AZ, who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
Patricia was born in Phoenix AZ; a daughter of Henry Emerson Nunn and Vernie May Bentley Nunn. She was the third of five girls: Mildred Irene, Thelma Lou, Anna Marie, and Ida May. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Rusty. Family knew her as Ruth. "Bobo" was a favorite nickname of her son's, and friends called her Pat.
She is survived by her sister Marie Vannie, children Debra Loftus (Duane), Kevin Blesh, and Renae Mears, six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Pat had a brilliant mind and could solve just about any problem with common sense. She was very gifted and talented in figuring things out and finding a sensible solution. She and her first husband built a duplex in Tempe, AZ, working nights and weekends to complete it. She used these learned skills to her advantage throughout her life.
She worked with her son, Kevin, for years, helping him with everything from pricing and operating a forklift to sales and all-around support. She loved staying busy, being productive, and was an extremely hard worker.
In her later years she joined Silver Sneakers and went to Pilates classes regularly; she was very dedicated to her health and well-being. Having the ability to balance on one foot came in real handy when one day her hip joint popped out of its socket and she was able to make her way, on one foot and leg, to a phone and call for help.
Pat loved to laugh, joke and play pranks, and had a great sense of humor. One of her favorite childhood stories to tell was feeding her two younger sisters worms (which she collected) hidden in a bowl of noodles. Her father loved the tom-boy in her but she was definitely spanked for doing this.
Pat was a good mother and cared for the well-being of her children; always offering to help and attending to their needs. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and strength that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
