Patricia Mary DeLuca (Murphy), 91, of White Plains, New York passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025, surrounded by her closest family.
A selfless soul, grateful for what she had insistently sharing with others while never asking for anything in return.
She was born in Ossining, New York on March 15, 1933, to the late Martin Francis Murphy and Agnes Mary Murphy (Hanley).
She attended St. Augustine School in Ossining New York. At the age of 10 she moved to Elmsford, New York where she graduated from Alexander Hamilton High School. She then married the love of her life, Emil DeLuca, Jr. at Mount Carmel Church in Elmsford, New York, on November 27, 1955, and focused on raising her family. In later years she rejoined the workforce in hotel management.
Preceding Patsy in death are her loving husband Emil DeLuca, Jr., her parents Martin and Agnes Murphy, her brother Martin Francis Murphy, Jr. and her sister who raised her, Kathleen Theresa Ehret (Murphy).
Remaining to cherish Patsy's memory are her children, Donna Kathleen Benson (DeLuca) and Emil John DeLuca (Rebecca), her grandchildren, James Clifton Benson (Joanna), Richard Devin Benson, Evalina Jolie DeLuca and Emil Jarett DeLuca, and great grandchild, Kaitlyn Marie Benson, sisters-in-law Joy Ann Fidlow (DeLuca) and Kathleen Mary DeLuca (Harrison) and many nieces and nephews.
The memories you have created will live on in all of us and continued to be shared forever.
Visitation will be held on Monday January 27, 2025, from 3pm to 7pm at Ballard Durand Funeral Home Elmsford, New York.
Mass of Christian burial on Tuesday January 28, 2025, at 10am, internment to follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Sleepy Hollow, New York.
