It is with great sadness that the family of Patricia (Klaila) Duphily, age 67, of Middleborough, MA announce her passing on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
Patricia was born in Somerville, MA on Wednesday, December 12, 1956, to the late William and Katherine (Sullivan) Klaila and was a 1975 graduate of Middleborough High School. She was the wife of the late Richard Duphily and loving mother of Timothy and his wife Jennifer, Michael, and the late Paul Duphily whose wife Allison Duphily remains a cherished part of the family. She is survived by her six grandchildren, Logan, Emma, Richard, Ava, Isabella, and Timothy, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother William Klaila and his wife Terri of Middleborough, MA. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Barbara (Klaila) Sideris and Nancy (Klaila) Schultz.
She worked as a bookkeeper for many years alongside her husband at Greenleaf's Auto Parts in Raynham, MA, but being home with her boys and their friends brought her immeasurable joy. Her role as grandmother was one, she also cherished deeply.
Patty was an avid pet lover and typically had two or more dogs or cats at her feet. Her love for animals started when she was a young tween caring for horses. It was at that time that she converted a horse trailer into a penny candy store and would sell candy to the neighborhood children. In her early adult life, she loved camping on the beach at Race Point and having numerous pool parties in her back yard where she would spend wonderful times with her family and friends. She loved shopping with her mom and sisters and sharing the stories of their lives. She will be dearly missed and will be fondly remembered for her fun nature, her fondness to laugh and her infectious smile.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 10:00AM -12:00PM, immediately followed by a prayer service at 12:00PM, at Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home 280 Bedford Street Lakeville, MA 02347.
