Gayle was born September 30, 1940 on the Swastika lease, northeast of Megargel, TX to the late Johnnie Boone and Bessie Maud (Sutherland) Davis. She married Murvin Ray Rogers March 13, 1956 in Graham and he preceded her in death May 27, 2024.  She was the only daughter of five children.  Her brothers were J.B., Joe Bob, Jim, and Lonnie "Boomer" Davis and she loved them all very deeply.

Gayle was involved many years with the Graham Hospital Auxiliary and helped arrange and support many of the local jamborees in and about the Graham area, and played the drums while accompanied by her husband on his guitar. She will be remembered for her love of people, her smile and her laughter, as she enjoyed being with others.

Gayle is survived by her son, Monte Rogers and his wife Pam, her daughter Pamela Rogers, grandson Matthew Rogers and Haley Loper, and great granddaughter Ruby, grandson Davis Rogers and Katie Revia, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to send a special thank you to all the staff at Trinity House and Beyond Faith Hospice here in Graham for all their love, compassion and care for "Gayle Bell" in her final days.
