Patricia A. (Zahorchak) Gerrish, 74, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday November 20, 2025. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Born on June 4, 1951, in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Helen V. (Yusko) Zahorchak.
Patricia dedicated 42 years of service as a Postal Worker at the Southeastern Mail Center in Wayne. She was a loyal Phillies, Flyers, and Notre Dame fan, and found great joy in the sun at the beach with her cousin Mary and at Water World with family and friends. Above all, she cherished the time she shared with her friends, her nieces and nephews, and her great nieces and great nephews, who all brought so much happiness to her life.
She is survived by her brother, Michael G. Zahorchak, husband of Pamela; and her nieces and nephews:
Michael, husband of Donna Zahorchak;
Beth, wife of Joseph Pizzica;
Jeffrey Zahorchak;
Robert, husband of Brett Zahorchak;
Christopher Zahorchak;
and Ryan Zahorchak.
She is also survived by her great-nieces and great-nephews; Michael and Morgan Zahorchak, Joseph and Julian Pizzica, Grant and Reid Zahorchak, Allie Zahorchak, and her cousins; Mary McDaniel, Joanne Yusko, Helen Shane, and Connie Yusko.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert J. Zahorchak.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service at Devlin–Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA, on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Handi-Crafters Opportunity Center, P.O. Box 72646, Thorndale, PA 19372.
