Our beloved, Patricia took God's hand while peacefully surrounded by her family on December 4th, 2022.
Patricia was born on January 18th, 1949 in Manhattan, New York. As a child she attended Saint Bartholomew's Catholic School while living in Scotch Plains, New Jersey and graduated from Hunterdon Central High School while residing in White House Station, New Jersey. She went on to attend Glassboro College graduating with a degree in Elementary education with a focus on teaching neurologically impaired children. She had a thirty year career as a teacher in Greenwich Township School District; most of those years she spent teaching Kindergarten. She touched many students' lives and would light up when a student still recognized her and shared happy memories from years past. Nevertheless, the most important job if you asked her was that of being a Mother and Grandmother. She loved being both and shined bright having had her kind heart. She was always there for her family with kind words, laughter, and a gentle touch.
Patricia was very proud of her Irish roots and was overjoyed to be able to visit her family's origins in County Cork, Ireland during her lifetime. She was so very special and always enjoyed the simple things in life. She found beauty in nature, she loved animals, always pausing to say hello to them. She enjoyed listening and dancing to music, planting flowers, and eating ice cream. Above all, she most enjoyed spending time with her family. She treasured her children and grandchildren immensely and always spoke about them with great pride. She spent her life spreading smiles and sunshine and sharing many laughs. She was a true inspiration.
Patricia will join both of her parents, her sister Eileen and many family pets in heaven. She sadly leaves behind her two adoring children, Christopher and Heather and her three cherished grandchildren, Logan, Grace and Deacon. She also leaves behind two sisters and a brother.
Services and burial will be held privately with a Celebration of Life in the coming year. Due to Patricia's forever giving nature, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association,
