In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Wife, Mom & Grammy
A Life Filled with Love, Kindness, and Cherished Memories
It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our wife, our Mom, and our Grammy. Patricia Doris Bland Hall departed this world peacefully on October 27, 2025, 17 days short of her 79 th birthday. Leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and compassion that will forever be remembered by all who knew her. Her unwavering devotion to her family and friends was evident in every moment, and her gentle spirit touched the lives of many.

As a wife, she and her husband Wayne were in love at first sight. Married for 60 years, they enjoyed going to the dance halls, loved antique shopping and found pleasure in raising a garden. They spent time traveling the globe and going to Tennessee football and basketball games, cheering on the Big Orange. Patricia was a large part of Wayne K Hall Gun Repair including keeping the books, bluing guns and refinishing wood. Together they restored numerous pieces of antique furniture.

As a Mom and a Grammy, she was our greatest teacher, caregiver and steadfast supporter. She encouraged us to pursue our dreams, taught us the value of hard work, and showed us the importance of compassion, forgiveness, family and faith in our Creator. From making sure we had a homecooked meal to making our clothes, we are grateful for the memories we shared, the lessons she imparted, and the love she so freely gave each of us. Her home was always a welcoming place of laughter and inseparability.

Patricia was born November 13, 1946, and raised in the close-knit community of Gladeville, TN, living most of her life in Lebanon, TN and finishing her last years back in Gladeville. She attended Gladeville elementary, a one-room schoolhouse, she graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1964, where she was a cheerleader and homecoming queen.

Patricia lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and strength. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Carol Oakland Home Demonstration Club and at church. Offering words of wisdom, or simply sharing her beautiful smile, her presence brought comfort and joy to everyone she met. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel special and loved.

The daughter of the late Doris and Margaret Bland and sister of the late Shelby Griffin, she is survived by her husband Wayne K Hall, beloved children Jeff (Krista) Hall and Mindy (Anthony) Fortson, grandchildren Wilson (Sawyer) Hall, Walter Hall (Fiancé Haley) and Atlas Fortson, Brother-in-law Bobby Griffin, and nieces Dorie (Timmy) Mitchell and Kelly (Todd) Sweat, extended family, and countless friends. She was a member of Maple Hill Church of Christ. Though she is no longer with us in this life, her spirit will continue to inspire and comfort us daily.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2 PM on Friday, October 31, 2025 at a Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home in Lebanon, TN where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and remarkable life. Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 PM on Thursday, October 30th and for 2 hours before the service. Service will be conducted by her cousin-by-marriage Darrell Blankenship. Song leader will be Trey Gay. Pallbearers will be Wil and Walt Hall, Anthony and Atlas Fortson, Timmy, Wade and Cale Mitchell and Todd Sweat. Honorary pallbearers will be Jo Smith, Hettie Lee Richerson, Bobby Griffin and caregivers Candy Haynes, Carolyn Harper, Sandra Rodriguez and Phyllis Spencer. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, in recognition of Patricia's lifelong commitment to helping others, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Alive Hospice here in Lebanon, an exceptional non-profit who provided care this past year, in remembrance of Patricia.

We find comfort in knowing that her love and smile lives on as a part of us, and her memory will remain in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, Trish/Mom/Grammy, you will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
