Patricia A. Halperin

Patricia Halperin, of Hinsdale, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025. She was the heart of her family, always leading with kindness, strength, and steadfast Catholic faith.
Born on February 16, 1938, to Loretta (Mattioda) and John Glovetski, Patricia grew up alongside her brother, Ron, in Spring Valley, IL. She was the devoted wife of Thomas, with whom she shared nearly 50 years of marriage, and the proud mother of two daughters, Jenna and Bethany.
To her grandchildren-Mia, Jamie, Lizzy, Maddie, Ella, Cate, Jack, Georgie, and Lucie-she was simply "Nana," a gentle force of love and wisdom. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren-Charlie, Tommy, Keithy, and Henry-who brought her immense joy in her later years.
Patricia cherished life's simple pleasures: shopping trips to Costco that ended with a hot dog, finding treasures at TJ Maxx, and sipping a Diet Coke on her porch with her dogs. She was blessed to have made many friendships throughout the years, especially with her dear friend Gail, whom she met while teaching.
In addition to her daughter and grandchildren, she is survived by her brother, Ronald (Beverly) Glovetski; brothers-in-law, Daniel (Susan) and Patrick; her aunt, Arlene Chiesi; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Mass Thursday, June 5th, 10:00 AM at St. Isaac Jogues Church, 306 West Fourth St. Hinsdale, IL.
