Patricia Heckerman

PATRICIA PAT L. HECKERMAN, age 85, of Piqua, went home to be with the Lord at 11:25 AM on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Ohio s Hospice of Miami County, Troy, OH. She was born in Versailles, OH on November 25, 1936, to the late Russell and Pauline (Davidson) Oehrtman.
Pat is survived by four sons: Bruce Heckerman, Piqua, OH; Daniel and Sally Heckerman, Kettering, OH; Michael and Menbere Heckerman, Dublin, OH; Brent Heckerman, Cincinnati, OH; one daughter: Marilee McAgy, NC; one step-sister: Edna (Bill) Wentworth, Greenville, OH; 13 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son: Timothy Heckerman, one daughter: Theresa Heckerman and stepmother: Mary Ann Oehrtman.
Pat graduated from Versailles High School, Versailles, OH. She worked at Piqua Manor Nursing Home and retired from the healthcare industry where she made many lifelong friends, especially Ann Link and Lois Preston. Pat was completely dedicated to her family, friends and all her beloved cats. She had a love of music and was an avid reader of mystery novels.
A private celebration of Pat s life will be held at the convenience of the family with arrangements entrusted to Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home in Piqua, OH.
