Patricia Ann (Markway) Jeffries, age 74, of
Jefferson City, Missouri passed away peacefully on November 10, 2024, surrounded by family and friends at Capital Regional Hospital.
Pattie was born to Francis and Delores (Dee) Markway on August 8, 1950. Pattie attended Helias High School and graduated in 1968. Pattie was a wonderful sister to Larry Markway of Quincy, IL, Sr. Linda Markway of St. Louis City, Allen Markway of Knoxville, TN, Randy Markway, of Overland Park, KS, Bruce Markway, and Gayla Kempker of Taos, MO.
Pattie and Michael (Mike) Jeffries were married December 26, 1970 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in
Jefferson City, MO. Her most proud accomplishment was her two children Aaron Jeffries and Adrienne Wilde. She cherished her daughter-in-law Leslie Jeffries (Pummill) and son-in-law Eric Wilde and her five grandchildren Nicholas and Ryan Jeffries and Gage, Alexandria (Alex), and Bode Wilde.
Pattie was dedicated to her family and friends and extended family of Helias High School wrestling and football families. She intensely watched most Helias wrestling matches and football games while Mike was a coach. Pattie enjoyed jogging every day and usually ran the same five-mile route each day. As with all things, Pattie worked hard and helped others along the way. After high school, Pattie graduated from Patrica Stevens Fashion College in Saint Louis City. She then started a 30-year career at Saffee's Ladies Apparel Store for her extended family Lorraine and Alphonse Mercurio. Throughout her life, Pattie's greatest joy came from the time she spent with her family and friends. Christmas was her special time of the year, spending hours decorating the house and opening gifts Christmas morning was always one at a time. She loved us and we loved her.
