Patricia Kern Obituary
PENDLETON- Patricia “Patsy” Marie Kern, 81, passed away November 20, 2024, at her home.
She was born September 21, 1943, in Frankton, Indiana to Boyd Robert and Nora B. (Smith) Hensley and was a Pendleton resident most of her life.
Patsy was a homemaker who loved gardening and her Precious Moments collection.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard “Dick” W. Kern; grandson, Matthew Stewart; brothers, Luther Hensley and Kenneth Hensley; and sisters, Chleo Harless and Betty Knotts.
Survivors include her children, Cathy (John) Davis of Pendleton, Jeff (Gene) Kern of Greenfield, Andy (Rose) Kern of Pennville and Tim Kern of Anderson; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters, Naomi Manlove of Lapel, Rebecca Warstler of Westfield and Marcia Niccum of Huntsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 12 p.m., Monday, November 25, 2024, at Bozell Funeral Homes – Lahm Chapel, Pendleton with burial following in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday, November 25, 2024 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the family or the funeral home.
