Patricia "Pat" C. Lepkowski (nee Sanville)
Patricia "Pat", age 91, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2025, at her home in Greenfield, surrounded by her family.
Beloved wife of the late Casimir "Casey" Lepkowski. loving mother of Cathy (Everett) Bunzel and James (Mary) Lepkowski. Dear grandmother of Elizabeth (Dan) Kurowski, William "Bill" (Maria) Lepkowski, Casey (Gabi) Lepkowski, Chrissy (Justin) Ankley, Patricia "Patty" (Tristan) Bigler, and Everett (Brie) Bunzel. Proud great-grandmother to Callie, Annabelle, Luke, Landon, Sam, Teddy, Ellie, Natalie, Jack, Carter, Theo, Everett, and Aaron. Pat's love extended to her special friends Jim, Heather, and their daughter Ava, as well as her cherished furry companions, Trae and Donkey. She was a friend and relative whose gentle presence will be missed by many.
Pat was preceded in death by her sisters, Theresa (the late Charles "Red") Swingle and Marlene (the late Joseph) Waltenberger.
Throughout her life, Pat was known for her gentle spirit and her commitment to serving others. Her life was marked by dedication and hard work, and she was always ready to lend a hand to those in need. Pat's involvement in her community was significant, as she volunteered her time and talents to various causes. Her work with Waukesha County's home delivery meal program and her church's senior ministry and daycare program allowed her to touch the lives of many, spreading joy and comfort wherever she went.
Pat's interests were a reflection of her nurturing soul. She found joy in sewing; a skill she used to create beautiful garments and gifts for her family and friends. Her baking was legendary, especially her chocolate chip cookies and candy, which were always a hit at family gathering. Pat's kitchen was a place of warmth and love, and the smells of her delicious creations will be fondly remembered by all who were lucky enough to experience them.
Pat's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Brighton Hospice and Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix for their compassionate care and support during her final days.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18, at ST. ELIZABETH ANN SETON, 12700 W. Howard Ave., New Berlin, from 10-11:15 AM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Elmbrook Humane Society, https://ebhs.org/, would be appreciated.
Interment at Holy Apostles Cemetery, New Berlin.
