Patricia Lynn Leppek (McGuire)
Patricia "Patty" Leppek, born on May 1, 1964 in Bay City, Michigan, passed away on October 8, 2024 at the age of 60 in Midland, Michigan, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family in her final moments. Patty was the cherished daughter of the late Edward J. McGuire and Betty J. (Charbonneau). On June 15, 2001 she married the love of her life, Kenneth Leppek at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where she was also baptized and confirmed.
Patty's life was a testament to selflessness and love. She held her family, especially her extended family, close to her heart and took great joy in watching her nieces and nephews grow, helping to nurture them as if they were her own. Known for her boundless energy, Patty loved walking, road trips and reading, particularly historical books, brought her lots of joy as did trying her luck at the casino. Her sisters were her best friends and forever companions through life.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband and best friend, Kenneth Leppek; siblings: Bonnie (Phillip) Burzynski, Colleen (Art) Dore, Jr., Mary (Andy) McGuire-Kolak, Kathleen (Darryle) Goode, Micki McGuire, Edward Nowak; brothers-in-law: Daniel Leppek, Michael Leppek, Larry Malace, II; cherished nieces and nephews: Arthur N., Chase (Lori), Dakota, Eric (Brooke), Ashlee, DeMarcus, Alexa (Dominick), Jaxxon, Larry III, Courtney (Nathaniel) Madeline, Elizabeth and Benjamin. She was preceded in death by parents Edward and Betty McGuire; brother, Daniel McGuire; nephew Robert Dore and Great-nephew DeMarcus King Jr; and mother and father-in-law: Leonard and Joyce Leppek.
A Vigil service for Patty will be held at 6:00 PM, Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Squires Funeral Home. Family and friends may gather for visitation from 1:00PM until the time of service. For those wishing to honor Patty's memory, donations to assist with her medical expenses are welcomed, though not requested.
