Patricia Limbach
Patricia Limbach, age 94, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. Pat was the youngest daughter of the late Lyle and Frances (Dilly) Scatterday. She grew up in Carrollton and resided for many years in Wooster and Canton with her husband Gerald Limbach. Pat was a 1946 graduate of Carrollton High School and received her RN degree from Aultman School of Nursing. As a RN, she worked at Aultman Hospital and then while her husband served in the US Army. She completed her Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license from Brigham Young University and served for 22 years at the College of Wooster Health Center as a college health nurse practitioner. Pat was a longtime member of St. Stephen Martyr Lutheran Church.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Gerald Limbach (9/12/2013) and an infant son (9/2/1951) and two sisters Vergelia Dyke and Bette Anders. Pat was the Matriarch of her family and is survived by her daughter Jan Schaub and son Jon (Linda) Limbach; three grandchildren Jill (Tracey) Page, Eric (Abby) Limbach and Nathan Limbach and three great-grandchildren Kierstin Page, Carson Page and Simone Limbach. She was close to her many wonderful nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 8 at 2:30pm at St. Stephen Martyr Lutheran Church with Rev. Dr. Bruce Roth and Pastor Herbert S. Garns III officiating. Interment will be at Sandy Valley Cemetery in Waynesburg. The Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home is handling services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Pat's memory to: St. Stephen Martyr Lutheran Church; 4600 Fulton Drive; NW; Canton, Ohio 44718.
