Patricia B. McGuire (nee Scappettone) passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 3, 2025. She was 86 years old. Patricia was born in the Bronx, NY on August 24, 1939, to Michael and Stella Scappettone. After graduating from Evander Childs High School, Patricia worked several years at the New York Telephone Company before moving her family in 1969 to "the country," Thiells, NY.

As a devoted wife and mother, she touched the lives of her family with perfect examples of unconditional love, selflessness, compassion, courage, generosity and devotion. She guided their course so that they could become all the wonderful things that she was to so many people over the years, a loving child, a loyal sister and friend, a devoted spouse, a supportive parent and an adored grandparent just to name a few.

Patricia is survived by her beloved husband, Bill, and her children Eric, Curt (Maria), Craig (Camille), Kris (Rob), and Bill (Amy). She is also survived by her grandchildren CJ, Daniel, Allyson, Jessica, Nicholas, Olivia, Thomas, Matthew, Lindsay, William III, Lyla, as well as her sister, Concetta, and lifelong friends. Patricia was predeceased by her beloved daughter Laura and sisters Gladys and Rose.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th, 2025 from 4pm-8pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home in Garnerville, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th, 2025, 11am at St. Gregory Barbarigo Church, Garnerville, NY followed by interment at Ascension Cemetery, Airmont, NY.
