Predeceased by her siblings Rosemary, Jerome, Michael, Cynthia, Carol, and Dominick, Pat will be deeply missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she loved dearly.
Pat, a retired employee of Park City Communities, dedicated her professional life to ensure individuals and families had safe and secure housing; she served her community with pride! Throughout her life, Pat is known for being a very accomplished bowler with Nutmeg Bowling League, winning numerous competitions on the local, regional, and national levels.
Pat's loving spirit, generous heart, and infectious laugh will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her family and friends will clearly cherish the memories of her love, kindness, and devotion.
A Memorial Service will be held at Lester Gee Funeral Home in Bridgeport; details will be forthcoming. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the American Lung Association (Donate - American Lung Association)
Rest in peace, Pat. Your love, legacy, and spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved you.

January 11, 2024 from 12p.m to 2p.m at Lester Gee Funeral Home, 1390 Fairfield Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. Interment will be private.
In honor of Pat's many skillful accomplishments and endless love for bowling, a post Memorial reception will be held at Nutmeg Bowling Lanes (802 Villa Avenue Fairfield, CT. 06825 203-367-7741) from 2:30p to 4:30p. All are welcome to attend. Food, non-alcoholic beverages, and bowling shoes (if needed) will be provided.

Patricia (Pat) Merritt, a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, CT, passed away in the early hours of December 29th, 2024. Born to the late Mary and Walter Burgo Sr, Pat is survived by her loving brother, Walter Burgo Jr.
