Patricia "Patty" Kathleen Morrison, age 75, of Celeste, Texas, passed away on September 27, 2024. Patty was born in Glendale Arizona on February 6, 1949 to parents Patrick and Alice (Davis) O'Hara. Shortly after her birth the family moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she grew up.
Patty met Kevin Morrison and after their first date, they both knew they belonged together. Kevin and Patty enjoyed traveling and lived in multiple states with their four children before settling in Texas in 1989. Patty was a stay at home mother to her four children. She was a devoted family woman and was affectionately known as "Super Grandma" to her beloved grandchildren. Her warmth and love were felt by all who knew her.
Patty developed a love for motorcycles through her husband's passion for them and earned her motorcycle license at the age of 52. She found joy in riding through the mountains and countryside, often preferring the solitude of solo rides. She was an avid reader and animal lover. She enjoyed sewing, often making elaborate costumes for her children and grandchildren. She embraced life with enthusiasm and a curious spirit. Patty will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her deep love for her family, and her gentle heart.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents and sister Wanda Nolan.
She is survived by her children Carmen (and Mike) Morris, Amanda (and Ken) Mahrt, Genna Jackson, and Benjamin (and Charisse) Morrison; grandchildren Joshua Morris, Devon Jackson, Jacklynn Jackson, Ty Jackson, Jason Mahrt, Nathan Mahrt, Alex Morrison and Lily Morrison; many nieces and nephews, and a host of loving extended family and friends.
No formal services have been scheduled.
