Patricia A. Mrozinski

1936 - 2025

Patricia Ann Mrozinski, 88, formerly of Natrona Heights, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025, at Concordia at Cabot. She was born Dec. 5, 1936, in New Kensington to the late Paul and Mary (Yangula) Schrecongost. Patricia graduated in 1954 from Ken-Hi. She was a secretary for ALCOA and a clerk for Allegheny Valley Hospital. She married John Edward Mrozinski on June 18, 1960, and lived in Sarver before moving back to Natrona Heights, where she resided until 2001, at which time she moved to Concordia Retirement Haven, Cabot. Patricia was a former member of the former Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Natrona Heights, and a current member of St. Joseph Church, Cabot. She did volunteer work at Concordia, which included Angel Duty. Patricia also sang in the Concordia Cantata for six years and was on various committees. Survivors include her children John E. (Ann) Mrozinski, Jr. of Pittsburgh and Mary Lou (Brent) Jensen of Ulysses, PA; grandsons, John E. 'Jack,' III and Luke Mrozinski; granddaughter, Elisabeth (Will) Montaruli; and grandson, Benjamin (Kate) Jensen. Also surviving are her great-grandchildren, Annie Yeagle, Addy Montaruli, Peter Jensen, Mary Beth Jensen, and Evelyn Montaruli. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. 'Jack' Mrozinski, in 2000; and her brother, Paul Schrecongost. Visitation 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, at DUSTER FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 347 E. 10th Ave., Tarentum, 724-224-1526. Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, at 10 a.m., in St. Joseph Church, Cabot. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
