On March 19, 2023 Patricia Falahee O'Farrell, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away.

Pat was born and raised in the Bronx, and lived there for her entire life. It was there that she raised her two sons, Joseph and William, who were her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. Pat worked at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital for 47 years. Pat loved her work and took pride in her ability to help the patients. Pat loved to travel to the Caribbean, especially St. Maarten, where she and her beloved husband John met life long friends who became constant travel companions. Pat was a fiercely loyal friend who cherished her life long relationships that she considered family. She enjoyed traveling with her friends to Las Vegas for a week every year and spending time in Long Beach. If she was not spending time with her grandchildren, she could be found playing cards with friends, working the crossword puzzle with Billy, at Empire City enjoying the slot machines or playing bingo with the ladies of Knolls Crescent.

Pat is survived by her beloved Husband John, her loving son Bill, her daughter-in-Law Kathy and her step-children, Karen, John and Ronnie. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Joseph, Meghan, Kara, Bob, Christine, John Paul, Brian, Mary and great grandchildren Timmy and Brody. Also predeceased by her wonderful son Joseph and grandson Timothy.

She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

A wake will be held at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, located at 6110 Riverdale Ave Bronx, NY from 3 to 7 pm on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Pat's life will be celebrated at a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, March 23rd 2023 at 10:30 am at St. Margaret of Cortona Church. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne NY.
