Kenneth Arthur O'Farrell, Jr., age 70, of Eastanollee, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025, at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born October 4, 1954, in Pittsburgh, PA, Kenneth was the son of the late Kenneth Arthur O'Farrell, Sr., and Virginia Louise Gorski. He dedicated his professional life to the city of North Lauderdale, FL, where he retired as the Assistant Parks and Recreation Director, leaving a legacy of community involvement and dedication.
Kenneth had a passion for travel, with a particular fondness for visiting Ireland alongside his family. He was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, sharing his enthusiasm for the team with those around him. At home, he found joy in gardening and spending time in his yard, creating a renowned Christmas display that delighted his neighborhood each holiday season.
Kenneth will be remembered as a loving father, a caring partner, and a great friend to many. He leaves behind a world that feels dimmer in his absence but brighter for having known him. He is survived by his longtime partner, Arline Thoms, his son, Christopher O'Farrell, his brother, Gary (Cammy) O'Farrell, and his uncle, Joey Gorski, as well as his aunts, Shirley Murr and Iris Partyka. Kenneth also leaves behind his beloved canine companion, Terry.
In accordance with his request, Kenneth was cremated. His family will honor his life privately, as he requested of them.
