Patricia "Patty" Mary Pillow, 63, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on October 4, 2025 in Ft. Myers, Fl. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many.
She attended Badger High school in Lake Geneva, WI and was on the Pom-Pom team and tennis team. Upon her family moving back to Illinois, she graduated from New Trier High School and was a cheerleader and on the tennis team. Patty graduated from Columbia College in Chicago with a degree in Communications.
Patty met her future husband, Dave Pillow, on a blind date, at a Bulls game! They wed in November of 1999 in Winnetka, IL. They resided in Lisle, and then Woodridge Illinois. They moved to Cape Coral Florida in March of 2006.
Patty loved water skiing and sailing, especially getting out on Lake Michigan and was an avid tennis player throughout her life. She had a fun loving, energetic personality, who was always joking around and loved causing trouble in Lake Geneva. When she relocated to Florida she fell in love with the beach. Her favorite pastime were sunset cruises looking for dolphins, while listening to the Grateful Dead cranking out on the stereo. Patty had a very special love for dogs growing up starting with her family dog Charlie. Upon moving to Florida she had great love with her dogs Jake, Marley and currently Parker.
Patty loved sports more than almost anyone known. She lived and breathed Notre Dame football and was a passionate Bears, Cubs, and Bulls fan. Give her a Chicago Pizza or a Portillos Beef on game day and watch a happy girl at her best!

Patty was a beloved sister to her brothers Robert Marquardt, Timothy (Mary) Marquardt, John (Marianne) Marquardt, sister Mary (Robert) Lang, and sister-in-law to Kathy Pillow and Karen (Frank) Severino.
