Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Patricia Ann Muller Pritchett went to
be with the Lord after a short but severe illness on Friday, December 9th 2022 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Patty was born January 18th, 1958 in St. Cloud, Minnesota. She grew up in the small town of Maple Lake, the 5th child of Raymond Muller and Marilyn (Schad) Muller's 7 children. She is survived by her 6 siblings: Alan (Michelle) Muller, Christine Muller, Joe (Carol) Muller, Susan Muller (Richard) Lehman, David (Kelli) Muller and Charlie Muller, and preceded in death by her parents.
Patty loved music. She played piano, saxophone in the band and stage band, sang in choir and with small groups in churches and duets with her sister, Susie. She attended St. Cloud State University, Rochester Community College nursing school in Rochester, MN ultimately getting her BSN from the University of MN.
She met her beloved and devoted husband, Bob, after visiting her sister, Susie, in Indiana for a summer. Bob won her over and they married in May of 1982. Robert Allen Pritchett was born November 1984, in Lafayette, Indiana. After moving to Warsaw, Indiana, Ryan David was born in 1987. When the boys were school-aged, Patty began working as a nurse at Grossnickle Eye Center, where she enjoyed a long career in pre and post op eye surgery and was a well-loved co-worker. She was most recently working at Cincinnati Eye Institute. Bob and Patty developed very close friends at Bethany Bible Chapel where they fellowshipped and where Ryan met his wife, Carolyn, in the church nursery.
Patty loved hosting Thanksgiving dinner and did so for many years including this last Thanksgiving. Patty made her home a warm and beautiful, inviting space for family and friends and loved showing hospitality to others. She served faithfully at Faith Church in Milford, Ohio cooking many meals for others, helping in the Sunday School program, just loving the children. Patty loved the women's Bible studies and gave herself to studying and reading God's Word daily.
Perhaps the greatest delight of her life were her 4 grandchildren: Tricia Karey, 9; Lorien Belle 7, Seth Donald 5 and Moira Ruth, 4. Her family and friends will remember Patty for her wonderful sense of humor, how much fun she was to be around, her love of cooking and baking (and shopping), her keen and analytical mind, her serious study of the Bible, but mostly for the way she was so intensely interested in the lives of others.
Patty's last wishes about her death, expressed many months before her death, were that she would not be buried and that people would know that she is in heaven because she loved Jesus, not in the ground. Though there is no way to capture our pain in losing this dearest one, we are comforted to know she is with the Lord, who promises eternal life to all who believe in Him.
In addition to her six siblings, she is survived by her husband Bob, her sons Rob and Ryan, his wife Carolyn and her four grandchildren.
A celebration of Patty's life will be held on December 29, 2022 at Faith Church 5910 Price Road, Milford, Ohio 45150. Visitation will be held beginning at 12 noon with a service at 3:00 pm.
