Patricia Anne (Ryan) Rayburn, age 89, of London, Ohio passed away Friday, October 17, 2025. Born in London on April 30, 1936, to Emmett and Helen Fleming Ryan. Pat was a 1954 graduate of Madison Rural and retired after 41 years at The Central National Bank which eventually became Huntington Bank. While working at the Central National Bank, Pat met E.B. Rayburn and the two were married on September 27, 1958.
Pat was a very busy lady. She enjoyed volunteering her time and helping others. She was a member of St. Patrick Church in London where she was a Eucharistic Minister, active on Parish Council, as well as The St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Altar and Rosary Society. She served as Treasurer of St. Patrick Home and School for many years. She was instrumental in forming the Bereavement Dinner Committee. Pat was also active in the community as a 50+year member of Phi Beta Psi Sorority and the London Country Club. She served as Treasurer of the Madison County Historical Society, and was a member of the Coover Society and the London Federation of Women’s Clubs where she served on the Candy Sale Committee. When Pat wasn’t working or volunteering, she was playing Bridge in one of many card clubs.
Pat is survived by her two children Julie McFarland and Kevin (Melisa) Rayburn along with her seven grandchildren, Kelsey, Ryan and Troy McFarland and Ashlie, Michael, Christopher and Alyssa Rayburn as well as her nephews Steve and Bob (Terry) Ernst and numerous great- nieces and great nephews. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Son-in-law, Dennis (Al) McFarland, sister, Mary Catherine Ernst and her husband Emerson and brother, Bob Ryan and his wife Phyllis as well as nephews Chris and Phil Ernst and great- nieces Brandy Keller and Jessica Ernst.
Family and friends are invited to call at the St. Patrick Parish Center, 61 South Union Street, London, Ohio 43140, on Wednesday, October 22 from 11:00am to 1:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow, concelebrated by Father Slawomir Siok and Father Mark Ghiloni concluding with interment at St. Patrick Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Madison House and London Health & Rehabilitation for the excellent and compassionate care she received. Services have been entrusted to Lynch Family Funeral Home.
