Donald Lee Belcher of Circleville, Ohio passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025. Donald was born on May 3,1955 to Howard & Mary (Sexton) Belcher in Springfield, Ohio. Donald lived life to the fullest, always living and doing things as he wanted.
Donald married the love of his life, Barbara (Chaney) on January 29,1972. They had their first daughter, Lisa, on July 28,1972. Donald also enlisted into the Marines in 1972, Graduated from London High School in 1973, then left for boot camp at Parris Island, South Carolina. Donald served as a United States Marine until 1976. Donald & Barbara would welcome two more daughters, Amy was born July 28,1979 and Megan, born April 10,1983.
Donald moved his family all over the United States, which they are thankful for. They lived in Ohio, Indiana, Idaho, and his favorite state, Colorado. Donald spent countless hours with his family driving through the Rocky Mountains. As a history expert, he loved vacationing in Gettysburg and Washington DC. Donald loved westerns, fishing, riding his horses and cheering on his grandkids at all their sport events. Donald just loved spending time with his family, it was his favorite thing to do.
Donald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara, his parents, Howard & Mary Belcher, and his sister, Linda Jean Gunderson.
Donald is survived by his daughters, Lisa (Joey) Cline, Amy (Jeremy) Barr, Megan (Tom) Belcher. A brother, Michael (Nancy) Belcher, sister-in-law June Herzog, Aunts Dorothy Henry & Francis Murphy. Donald also leaves behind his grandchildren, Caleb, Casey, Jenna (Jaydyn), Leah, Chase, Haley, Madison, Noah, Kiyah, Ryliegh, and Zane, and his first Great Grandson, Hudson. Donald is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces & nephews, and cousins. Donald also leaves behind his girlfriend Anna Sweet and her daughter, Faye Sperry, who are near and dear to his heart.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours at St. Patrick Parish Center, 61 South Union Street, London, Ohio 43140, on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Slawomir Siok officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, 4180 State Route 56, London, Ohio 43140.
