In Loving Memory of Patricia Dameron Ridgeway
January 16, 1938 – June 25, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Ridgeway, who left us peacefully on June 25, 2025, at the age of 87, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Hague, Virginia, Pat lived an independent life, filled with creativity and traveling. She had a love for quilting, creating beautiful quilts for family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn, in 1997, and her parents, Lewis and Irene Dameron.
She is survived by her children: Lisa Boyett, Gwen Ridgeway Bates, Ronald Ridgeway, Robert Ridgeway, as well as her sons-in-law and daughters-in-law: Brock Boyett, Bill Bates, Joyce Ridgeway and Allison Ridgeway; her ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren; her brother Tayloe Dameron and Melissa Chatham.
She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will forever cherish her warmth and laughter.
A memorial service will be held on September 20th, 2025, at 11:00am at Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Though we are heartbroken, we take comfort in knowing she lived a full life enjoying her pursuits. She will forever remain in our hearts.
