Patricia A. Sowatzke

Patricia "Pat" Sowatzke, Oconomowoc, WI and formerly of Stevens Point, WI passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family on Friday March 14, 2025, at the age of 84. She was born in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on February 24, 1941, to the late Herman "Harry" and Dorothy (Johnson) Pelot. She was united in marriage to the love of her life Lawrence "Larry" Sowatzke on August 2, 1958.
Nothing brought more joy to her than spending treasured time with family. She never missed the opportunity to take a ride in the car, stopping for her adored single scoop of vanilla ice cream, trips to Phoenix in the winter and summers in Minocqua.
She is survived by her children: Jim (Molly), Suzanne (Ron) Baltus, Rob (Nancy) and Larry (Heidi). Grandchildren: Erin, Heather, Adam, Michael, Lauren, Jacob, Hannah, Ashley, Haley and L J, and 5 great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff at Wilkinson Woods assisted living facility in Oconomowoc who provided loving care and compassion to Pat. She forged many new friendships while there and never missed the opportunity to stop in to see Debbie or Danielle for her favorite chocolate treats. A special thank you as well to Legacy Hospice who provided such empathetic care for Pat near the end of her journey. All brought tremendous comfort to the family knowing she was in good hands at all times.
Survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister-in-law Rebecca, brother Jerry and wife Laura, sister Lou, sister Mary, brother Terry and wife Colleen along with many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, parents, parents-in-law Lawrence and Julia, brother Dan, and brothers-in-law Eugene and Ken.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday March 22 at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home at 2911 Plover Road, Plover, WI. Deacon Vern Linzmeier will officiate. Burial will take place in the St. Bronislava Parish cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of services Saturday morning at the funeral home.
