Patricia Ann Audler Speirer, lovingly known as Patty, age 70, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on October 30, 2025, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital.

Born on August 2, 1955, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Patty was the beloved daughter of Elliott and Evelyn Audler. She grew up in New Orleans and attended Sacred Heart of Jesus, where her vibrant personality and love for life began to shine.

Patty was a woman of many talents and passions. Over the years, she worked as a cosmetologist, an aerobics instructor, and an administrative assistant at Pan-American Life Insurance Group. Her creativity, energy, and compassion shone through in everything she did. Whether she was helping someone feel beautiful, motivating others to stay active, or brightening the office with her laughter, Patty touched countless lives with her warmth and positivity.

She has been married to her husband, David Speirer, for 38 years, sharing a life full of love, laughter, and adventure together.

Patty faced life with incredible strength and grace, especially throughout her courageous battle with pancreatic cancer following her diagnosis on Christmas Eve 2024. Despite countless setbacks and hurdles, she kept fighting, with faith, determination, and the same radiant spirit that defined her entire life.

In her final days, Patty was surrounded by her husband, David, who stayed faithfully by her side every day, along with her devoted children, grandchildren, and visits from loved ones. Her family is deeply grateful for the time they had to feel her warmth, to hold her hand, listen to her favorite music, and fill the room with love and laughter as they cherished every precious moment together.

Those who knew Patty will remember her as someone who truly lived. She loved dancing…always the first one on the dance floor (or creating one if there wasn't). Music was her constant companion, and concerts, fashion, and good times with family and friends filled her life with color. Her happiest moments were spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. She encouraged them to dream big and chase their passions, just as she always did.

Patty's spirituality was at the center of her life. She prayed daily with unwavering faith and believed deeply in the power of love and Heaven's promise. That faith gave her strength through every challenge and peace in knowing she would one day be reunited with her loved ones who went before her.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Speirer; her daughters, Amanda Lauren Speirer, Ashley Guidry Dimitri, and Tara Lynn Guidry; her sisters, Bea Quaintance and Toni Cancienne; and her cherished grandchildren, Isabella Grace Roberts, Luke Joseph Dimitri, Aiden Christian Fee and Alysse Gabrielle Fee.

Patty is preceded in death by her father, Elliott Audler; her mother, Evelyn Audler; her grandparents, Bernice Zimmer Mayeaux, Curley Mayeaux, Ellen Tujague, and Edward Audler; her sister, Kim Audler Davis; and her granddaughter, Madison Alysse Fee.

A visitation and memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124.

Visitation for family will be from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., followed by public visitation beginning at 5:30 p.m. The service in the chapel will begin at 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patty's name to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (https://PanCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network).org/about-us/) or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org).

Patty will forever be remembered for her laughter, her bold spirit, and her boundless love for her family and friends. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
