September 21, 2024, age 81 years. Sister of Judy A. (the late Ollie) Grasse, the late Betty J. (the late Ken) Ormsby, and the late Michael L. Stiehl. Sister-in-law of JoAnn Bernal. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Patricia began working at age 17 for First Wisconsin National Bank after her graduation from Custer High School. As an accounting assistant, she learned the essential banking rule of credits toward the window, debits towards the door. This rule would inform her work as she progressed through the bank, eventually becoming a lead analyst for the Credit Card Team. Patricia quickly became the backbone of the credit card technology for the inhouse credit card system (ICS), a highly profitable core banking system that served over 20 million customers. Patricia loved working for the bank, retiring and returning more than once, where she built strong friendships, was a generous mentor, and labored long hours with great humor and a smile.
A world traveler, Patricia has been to every continent on earth except Africa and Antarctica, and liked nothing more than sharing these adventures with her family and friends. She loved to entertain and host gatherings, particularly during the holidays. She enjoyed spending time in her garden, was a life long Green Bay Packers fan, and she loved playing games – especially if she won.
More than anything, she loved the people in her life, and was an exceptional Sister, Aunt, and friend. She will be missed.
Visitation Saturday, October 12 at the Funeral Home from 10AM until time of Service at 12 Noon.
This funeral service will be live streamed.
