Patricia A. (Mucci) Tempesta, 80, of Nashua, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister passed away at Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua on February 21, 2024.

She was born in Newton, MA on June 6, 1943, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Louise (Notartomaso) Mucci, Sr. She worked for the Nashua School System and the Catholic School System as a teacher’s aide for several years. She loved to cook, garden, quilt and sew. She also enjoyed doing crafts with her grandchildren. She loved spending time at Hampton Beach, where she and Ned owned a condominium. Patrica was also an avid Boston Bruins Fan, never missed a game, and wore her #63 jersey proudly.

Family members include her husband of 61 years, Nazareno “Ned” Tempesta, Sr; two sons, Nazareno “Neddy” Tempesta, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Ft. Myers, FL; and Stevan Tempesta, Sr. and his wife Patty of Bedford; his daughter, Christina Tempesta of Nashua; three grandchildren, Stevan, Jr., Danato and Zoe Tempesta; and a brother Nicholas Mucci, Jr. and his wife Christina of Hanson, MA.

Pat, as she was called, loved her family. Her children were social kids, and the house was always filled with kids beyond her own. She treated every one of them like they were her own. As her children started families of their own, she was blessed with 3 wonderful grandchildren. Pat was a wonderful grandmother and shared as much time with each of them as she could. "Nanny" hugs and kisses were the best. She was so proud of the adults that her grandchildren have become, and beamed with pride when she had a chance to tell anyone about them. Her love for them was unconditional.

She enjoyed sewing and quilting.  She put much thought into it and individualized each quilt that she gifted. They were large and made with love. Cherished by each recipient.

Time spent at “Nanny’s” was often spent in and around the kitchen.  Her meatballs were simply the best. You never left her house hungry and there was always room for one more at the table. Her second specialty was her “Santa Cookies”. This sugar bomb delicacy was enjoyed by everyone that had the pleasure of eating one. She spent time with each child and grandchild teaching and making these delights and the tradition will pass on for generations to come.

She also enjoyed watching the Boston Bruins. Her love for hockey started when her boys played, then her grandchildren. She could be found at center ice at St. A’s cheering on her two favorite Bedford High School hockey players Stevie and Danato.

She was loved by many and will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider making a donation in Pat’s honor to Susan G. Komen for those living with Breast Cancer - https://www.komen.org/how-to-help/donate/memorial-giving/
