Born in New Brunswick, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Frank R. Veary, Jr. and Theresa Kuchavik Veary. She graduated from Madison Township High School in Old Bridge, New Jersey in 1967. She worked for Prudential Insurance Company in Newark, New Jersey for many years prior to moving to San Jacinto, California in the late 1970s. She received her accounting degree (summa cum laude) from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, California and was the payroll accountant for Hemet Valley Hospital System until her retirement in 2015.
She is survived by her sister Frances Winkler, her niece Danielle Shelley (Hubert), great nephews Wade and Brice Shelley and many cousins.
