PIQUA -- Patricia L. Walker, 88, of Piqua died at 2:41 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born July 25, 1933 in Logan County to the late Floyd and Stella (Williams) Kasler. She married William A. "Bing" Grissom November 24, 1954 at Piqua Baptist Church; and he preceded her in death July 18, 1995. She then married Clarence E. "Buck" Walker October 19, 2003 at Piqua Baptist Church; he survives.
Other survivors include three daughters, Teri (Dan) Young of Piqua, Christie (Brent) Schneider of Piqua, Lori (John) Williams of Granbury, Texas; two step children, Donna (John) Lundeen of Golden, Colorado, Richard (Debbie) Walker of Port Charlotte, Florida; five grandchildren, Brian (Jill) Young, Bill Young, Nate (Dana) Schneider, Ben Schneider, Katie Williams; three step grandchildren, Lauren Lundeen, Abigail Lundeen, Natalie Lundeen; five great grandchildren, Ayden, Haylee, Hunter, Adelynn, Barrett; a brother, Paul Kasler of Piqua; a sister-in-law, Beverly Cooper of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Edwin Kasler; and a sister, Lillian Buffington.
Mrs. Walker was a 1951 graduate of Piqua Central High School. She worked as a secretary for the Sunoco Corporation for over twenty-five years before her retirement. She was a long standing member of Piqua Baptist Church where she was involved in many activities including a past member of the choir and aiding in funeral luncheons. She enjoyed playing golf, traveling and spending quality time with her husband, Buck.
A service to honor her life will begin at 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2021 at Piqua Baptist Church with Pastor Don Wells officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Piqua Baptist Church, 1402 High St. Piqua, OH 45356.
