Patricia Ann Williams

Patricia Ann (Scollick) Williams, 92, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 with her family by her side at Freedom Village - West Brandywine. She was the loving wife of John Raymond "Ray" Williams, Sr. and the mother of nine children, including two sets of twins. She and Ray would have shared 68 years of marriage this August.
Born in Lonaconing, Maryland on July 2, 1932, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Williams) Scollick. Pat graduated from St. Luke's High School in Pittsburgh, PA with the class of 1949. She went on to work as an Administrative Assistant at a law firm, which is where she met her husband Ray. Pat was a wonderful stay-at-home mom, raising their nine children. She also worked at the Upper Main Line YMCA in Berwyn, PA as a receptionist, and volunteered at Pickering Valley Elementary School in Chester Springs, PA as a cafeteria helper. She was an active member of St. Elizabeth's Parish in Chester Springs, and she often volunteered her time with the Lord's Pantry in Downingtown, as well as the Red Cross Blood Drive. Pat enjoyed traveling and loved to catch a Phillies game on TV. Most of all, she was devoted to her family, loved taking care of her grandchildren, and her great grands always made her light up with joy.
Surviving in addition to her husband Ray are her children John Raymond Williams, Jr., husband of Alice, of Manhattan Beach, CA, Lynda Williams of Manhattan Beach, CA, Keith Williams, husband of Kathryn, of Downingtown, Karen Cook, wife of Steven, of Millville, DE, Thomas Williams of San Francisco, CA, Michael Williams, husband of Rebecca, of Ocean View, Delaware, Mary Beth Morris, wife of Colman, of Kennett Square, PA, David Williams, husband of Caroline, of San Francisco, CA and Jennifer Truss, wife of Scott, of McHenry, IL; grandchildren Jeremy Williams (Amy), Renee Williams, Matthew Cook (Megan), Emily Cook Roberts (Griff), Bryan Cook, Andrew Williams (Elissa), Erin Senseny (Matthew), Meredith Morris Capella (Michael), Abigail Morris, Owen Morris, Jacob Williams, Charlotte Williams, Benjamin Truss and Claire Truss; and great grandchildren Chase, Stella, Alexander, Jack and Julia; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Jacqueline Battenfelder.
Relatives and friends are welcome to an evening visitation on Monday, May 12, 2025 from 5 – 7 PM at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335.
An additional time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 9:45 – 10:45 AM at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, 110 St. Elizabeth Drive, Chester Springs, PA 19425. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery, Coatesville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Pat's memory to the American Diabetes Association.
