Patricia was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to her family and she cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In her leisure time, Patricia found joy in playing bingo and cards, activities that brought her much happiness and camaraderie. In her younger years, she was an avid baker, making memories with her delicious baked goods.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, James G. Wright; her great-granddaughter, Addie; and her brothers, Harry, Carl, James, and Tom.
She is survived by her eight loving children: Carol (Joe) Tobkin, David (Christine) Wright, Ed (Penelope) Wright, Linda (Rick) Leyland, Ken Wright, Kathy (Bill) Nelson, Jim (Elizabeth) Wright, and Mike (Jackie) Wright. Patricia's legacy continues through her 13 cherished grandchildren: Jennifer, Jeffrey (Megan), Eddie, Angie, Ryan (Jessica), Tanya (Ricky), Melissa (Bryan), Kim (Troy), Brad, Brittany, Shanna (Jeremie), Dana (Ian), and James (Sarah); and her 15 adored great-grandchildren: Grayson, Sawyer, Max, Beckett, Everly, Billy, Connor, Carter, Lola, Camden, Landon, Samantha, Brendan, David, and Beatrice. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Jean, Gail, and Judy, who held a special place in her heart.
Services to honor Patricia's life will be held at the Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, followed by a service at 5:00 pm. Patricia will be laid to rest at Michigan Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Patricia's memory may make a donation in her name to the Medical Team Hospice by clicking the button to the left.
Patricia will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family will forever remain in our hearts.
Her cremation will take place at "The Witness Crematory" located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
