Patricia Lynn Young , 75, of Sherwood, Arkansas, passed away on November 30, 2025, at home in the presence of loved ones. Pat was born on February 23rd 1950 at Anderson Air Force Base, Guam to Douglas M. Hulsey Sr. and Alice Christine “Cain” Hulsey. Pat lived a full and vibrant life.
She is survived by her devoted husband, David Young; her children Tonya (Brian) Percefull and Mark (Laura) Young, her grandchildren; Alex (Britney) Percefull, Brittney (Ryan) Dahl, Max Percefull, Hope Young, Carson Young, Madison (Joshua) Campbell, Grant Young, Cassandra Hartzler, Hailey Hartzler, Austin Hartzler, siblings; Janet Scott, Dorothy (Charlie) Zimmerman, and Douglas (Debbie) Hulsey Jr, along with 5 precious great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Pat was a woman whose passions painted the story of her life. She found joy in the quiet rhythm of horse riding, where she felt a deep connection with nature and the gentle strength of the animals she adored. That same sense of freedom carried into her love for motorcycle riding, where open roads and wind-filled moments gave her a taste of adventure that kept her spirit young. Music was a warm companion wrapping her in memories and emotions only she could hear in those melodies. With a camera in her hand, she saw beauty that others often missed; photography wasn’t just a hobby for her, but a way of freezing love, laughter, and simple wonders in time. Above all, Pat’s world revolved around family, and nothing filled her heart more than her grandchildren and great-grandbabies, who like her family were always her first priority and her greatest source of pride. Every interest she held reflected the same truth: she lived with intention, tenderness, and an unshakable love for the people and moments that mattered most.
