Patrick and Braxton Cross Obituary
Patrick "Pye" Andrew and Braxton "B" Andrew Cross passed away June 21, 2025.
Patrick was born June 18, 1998 to Jacqueline Cross in Akron. He graduated from Kenmore High School in 2016 and went on to become a Union Carpenter for Local 285. Pye married his high school sweetheart in 2019 and together they had two boys. He was a natural father and never missed a moment with his sons. Changing diapers, going to doctors' appointments, coaching baseball games- Patrick was always ready to step up to the plate. Always a kid at heart, Patrick lived for his family and friends.
Braxton was born October 19, 2019 and was the happiest kid you'd ever meet. He always loved making people laugh and was an amazing big brother. B was always a daddy's boy and loved playing baseball with his dad. He would make friends with anyone, anywhere.
Patrick and Braxton leave behind Cassy Cross, wife and mother; Holden Cross, son and brother; Jackie (Brian) Zimmerman, mother and "mamaw"; Bryan (Allison) Moore, father-in-law and "pappy"; Grandma DeeDee (Sean) Bibey; Blake Cross and Jacob Glass, brothers and Uncles; Bryan Moore and Alex Dywer, brothers-in-law and uncles; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and so many dear friends.
Special thank you to City of Cuyahoga Falls and their search team, the village of Mogadore and the baseball association; and all of the people who have entered our lives through this tragedy. Your kindness and generosity are a bright spot in these dark times.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 11 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Anthony Funeral Homes- Akron Chapel, 1990 S Main St in Akron. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 12 at 11AM at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 3430 Northwest Saint Michael Blvd, Canton OH 44718. Interment at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Louisville to follow. To the family of Patrick and Braxton, I am so sorry for your loss. My heart aches for all of you , To Jackie, who I grew up with I´m so sorry for what you´re going through. I still can´t believe that this happened. I can remember Patrick when he was just a baby and you and I would have Olivia and Patrick in the umbrella strollers and we would walk the neighborhood and Patrick and Olivia would hold hands. I watched him grow up to be beautiful young man he was always so nice so well respectful always there to help out when someone needed help so many memories that I will have of Patrick and to his wife and other beautiful son I don´t know you, but he had such a beautiful family I hope and pray God gives you the strength all of you to get through this difficult time and always remember you have two beautiful angels looking down watching over you.
