Patrick Burns, a highly respected farrier and proud U.S. Army veteran, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of strength, integrity, and devotion to his family and community.
Patrick was the beloved husband of Elizabeth Burns, and a devoted father to Brandon (Jessica) and Jacob (Bree). Known affectionately as "Papa," he found his greatest joy in his grandchildren: Mason, Tanner, Alex, Emma, Aiden, Brentley, and Carrigan. His love and pride for each of them was evident in every story he told and every moment he shared with them.
Born to Wilma and the late William Burns, Patrick was one of seven siblings and is survived by Richard (Jeri), William (Nancy), Shawn (Marianne), Joseph (Vicki), and Cherylann (Dale) Dominique. His life was also blessed with a large extended family of nieces, nephews, and friends who cherished his wisdom, humor, and generous spirit.
Patrick dedicated his life to hard work and service. As a farrier, he was not only skilled and knowledgeable, but deeply respected for his care of both horses and their owners. His military service in the Army reflected his deep sense of duty and patriotism-a commitment he carried with him throughout his life.
Patrick's legacy is one of quiet strength, loyalty, and a deep love for his family. He will be missed beyond measure and remembered with gratitude by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
