Patrick Dunn Obituary
Patrick Dunn a lifelong resident of Port Jervis died on April 6, 2025 at Garnett Health Medical Center. He was 74 years old.
The son of the late Norma and Joseph Dunn, he was born on November 6, 1950 in Port Jervis, NY.
Patrick began his career at his family's beloved establishment, Dunn Tavern (later Steakhouse 13) in Port Jervis, where he first honed his knack for hospitality and making people feel at home. Most recently, he could be found behind the bar at the Riverview Inn, pouring drinks and sharing laughs with friends old and new.
A natural storyteller and quick-witted jokester, Patrick had a way of lighting up any room with his humor and charm. Beyond the bar, he had a green thumb, tending to plants and flowers with the same care he showed the people in his life. Big-hearted and generous, Patrick had a rare gift for making everyone around him feel like they were his best friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Patrick was predeceased in life by his brothers Walter Dunn with his wife Phyllis and Peter Latini, and niece Nicole Hernandez.
He is survived by his daughters Amanda Fleming, Tara Dunn, and Heidi Dunn. Brother of Kathy Roberts with her husband William. Grandfather of Regan, Alexa, and Sage. Uncle of Kathy Jo Gentile with her husband Marty, Jeffrey Dunn (Jackie), Heather Shepherd, Krista Bonaparte (Ernest), Megan Wright, (Mike), Trisha Tarkett, and Anita Pahmahmie Evans. Great Uncle of Kyler, Ramon, Ronin, Mia, Kirsten, Dominique, Blake, and Kyri.
Best friend and caregiver to Susan Bloomer. Former wife Lisa Foster.
