Patrick Joseph Finley, of Philadelphia, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at the age of 25. Patrick was born in Philadelphia, on September 9, 1999. Patrick is survived by his proud and adoring parents, Sean and Donna Finley; siblings Rebecca Rorabaugh and her husband Ricky, and Caitlin Finley; he is also survived by a loving extended family, many friends, and his shipmates aboard the USS San Diego (LPD-22).
Patrick was raised and educated in Philadelphia, a graduate of New Foundations Charter High School. He played baseball his Senior year for New Foundations as well as Holy Terrors. Patrick was a member of Teamster's Local 929 and was employed with Ryeco. Patrick followed in his father and grandfather's footsteps, answering the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Navy. He was recently promoted to the rank of CS2.
Family and friends are invited to Patrick's Life Celebration on Friday, March 28, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. until his Funeral Service and Military Honors are rendered at 1:00 P.M. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations in Patrick's name can be made to The Wounded Warrior Project.
