Dear Carol and family,
I have been constantly thinking of you and Pat since I heard about his passing. Pat really stuck gold when he found you! Both so kind and caring. The way Pat took care of you after your diagnosis was absolutely beautiful! You were a matched pair, so intelligent and thoughtful, and enjoying active lives and wonderful children who stayed close to you. Ben and I truly enjoyed our outings together. We have an unavoidable conflict and can't attend the service. We will be out of town. However, we would like to come visit you as soon as possible.
All my love to you, my dear friend since school days, and fellow "Bluebonnet Girl!"

Pat Garrett was a great mentor, colleague and friend! I worked with him for 20+ years at Seton and Ascension Seton. Under his leadership we made healthcare safer and better! I remember often dialing his office desk, phone, from whatever county in Central Texas. I was at that day. He always answered the same way, "well, Cynthia Glover..." And then we´d proceed to get to business. Long after he retired, I continued to call him every few months even after he moved to the Woodlands. And he always answered the phone in the same way I appreciate Pat Garrett for so many things but mostly for the decent way he treated others.

Carol: please accept my condolence and know I am keeping you in prayer during this difficult time for you and your family. My husband, Steven also lost his fight with stage four carcinoma this past November after seven weeks of hospitalization.
Would love a visit; however I am so happy that you are close to your children and grandchildren. My family and church family are my rocks just now.
Grace and peace, Linda Pybus Glover

Pat always supported me in my pharmacy endeavors. He was a wise man. I'll miss him, but know that he is with God now. R.I.P. Pat.

I am heartbroken by the loss of my dear friend and colleague, Patrick Garrett . One of the best and amazing people I´ve ever known-compassionate, hardworking, and always willing to support others. Pat´s friendship meant loyalty, encouragement, and genuine care. He made every workplace better and every friendship richer. The impact he had on my life and on so many others will never be forgotten. Pat you will be deeply missed but forever remembered. May you rest in peace, dear friend.
