Patrick LaBruyere Obituary
Patrick was a boat captain for Haliburton and owner operator of Direct Trucking, LLC. He enjoyed playing cards, camping and working in his shop. Pat was at his happiest when he was surrounded by family and friends. He was always keeping you smiling with his quick wit and contagious laughter. No matter what he was doing or where he was, if you needed something, he was there willing to give you the shirt off of his back.
He is preceded in death by his birth mother, Elizabeth "Boots" McGuire, birth father, John Samuel McGuire, and adoptive father, Al LaBruyere; siblings, Patsy Matheson, Aletta Squarsich, and Mike McGuire; granddaughter, Reese LaBruyere.
Survivors are his wife of 7 years, Stacy LaBruyere; mother, Marilee LaBruyere; children, Michael LaBruyere (Jennifer), Patrick LaBruyere, Jr. (Tara), Cheri Thornhill (Dwayne), Crystal Haegele (William), and Mason Andrew Walters (Kristal); siblings, Jimmy McGuire (Sheila), Timmy LaBruyere (Joye), Norda Berger (Jim), Kathy Racca (Steven), Sam Dart (Debbie), Cindy LeJeune (Gary), Tammy LaBruyere May, Dana Wilkin, and Toni Hardin (Jeff); brother-in-law, Dale Squarsich; sister-in-law, Cindy McGuire; 14 grandchildren, Brittany, Dwayne, Jr., Jessica, Brooke, Adam, Logan, Cade, Brody, Kane, Cole, Michaela, Kaylan, Ryker, and Lizzie.
Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Services will be held at a later date.
